  • Leslie has truly learned to enjoy the freedom real estate has to offer. Leslie’s children have watched and learned from the early days of struggling and the long hours she spent as a single mom trying to hold it all together. Motivating herself on a daily basis to keep on going during tough times was something that came easy after being raised by a super-positive father. Knowing that it was up to her to support the family was also a factor in her success.

    Over 50% of Leslie’s business comes from direct mail farming to geographic farms as well as farming past clients through direct mail and email. Leslie and her husband Christopher reside in Illinois and have 5 children.

    Leslie has four full time buyer agents, as well as three full time admin staff. Leslie went from being an individual agent in 2004 doing 168 transactions and $73 million to forming a team and rising to the 2nd place position in Illinois in her first year as a team. The Leslie McDonnell team sold 206 homes in 2006 with over $90 million in sales at its peak and is averaging 180 homes per year.
